We became interested in woodworking and especially Arts & Crafts furniture after we purchased a 1926 Chicago Bungalow. We spent 2 years researching Arts & Crafts furniture and interior design before we started restoring the interior and building furniture to match. Much of the furniture that we build is based on drawings of original Gustav Stickley pieces and those of his contemporaries. We also build original design furniture influenced by the AC movement.

Linda is a pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church (www.covchurch.org/cov) and the idea for Hand Crosses came from a friend who picked up one in Oxford England. I made one for Linda and several of her pastor friends wanted me to make them crosses too.
